COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Forest Hill course is an urban mountain bike adventure. It includes flow trails, root-covered singletrack, wooden stairs, and a river-view section. The start and finish is located in the beautiful Forest Hill grass fields. Riders begin race with a cyclocross-style grass section before dipping into singletrack. JV, MS, and Elementary riders encounter a required dismount and running section. This course has bit of everything and has ranked among to most popular courses in the Series.
COURSE MAP
Riders who raced on Saturday DO NOT need to register or pick anything up on race day. Riders MUST BRING RACE PLATE FROM FIRST RACE. There is no check-in. Riders simply need to be in staging area on-time. For new riders, registration is located in the stone house at start/finish area. Coaches should have signed USAC waivers ready to go for all NEW athletes on team. NEW racers will be issued chip timing number that will be used for the entire season. It is important that returning racers bring the same number to every race. Replacement numbers cost $25 each.

course preview
Course is open to pre-ride on Tuesday afternoon between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM. Course closes promptly at 3:30. No riders are allowed to enter course after 3:30. Riders must have registered for race and signed waiver before departing on pre-ride. Race numbers must be displayed on all bikes of riders pre-riding course. Coaches may ride with athletes during pre-ride, but family/friends may not. NOTE: this is a public park and pedestrians are allowed to use park during event. Please give pedestrians the right of way at all times.
TEAM ZONE
Each registered team is provided a 10x10 (10x20 for teams with over 15 riders) in the "TEAM ZONE" located next to the start/finish. Teams may bring tents and other equipment into their team zone. Vehicles and trailers are NOT allowed in this area, so teams need to carry equipment from parking area to team zone.

Parking is only available in the large parking lot past the park (see map above). Follow signs and park in an orderly fashion to maximize use of space. There is NO PARKING on neighborhood road or next to the start/finish. Please do not attempt to park in neighborhood parking spaces close to start/finish. This could compromise our relationship with park and neighbors of Forest Hill.

Porto-pots will be available in parking area. Additional restroom will be open in stone building next to start/finish line.
food
Design Physics Architecture has generously offered to provide pizza for all racers and coaches.
No Neutral water is provided at this venue. Bring all your own water and race food.
